Legal Associate (from 40%)
For ambitious young lawyers who want to work on real mandates early on and experience the development of an advisory firm at first hand.
The challenge
FiPAX AG combines legal advice with expertise in finance and real estate. We support property owners, SMEs and private individuals in projects where legal and economic questions are inseparable.
As a legal associate, you will work directly on ongoing mandates and gradually take on your own tasks. At the same time, you will actively shape how we work as a growing firm: templates, processes and internal know-how. If you are looking for responsibility and are willing to put in the effort, you will get a real opportunity with us.
With us, you do not work on practice cases. Your contracts, submissions and research are actually put to use – this demands commitment and precision, and offers a learning curve you will rarely find elsewhere.
Your responsibilities
Client work (approx. 60–70%)
- Drafting and reviewing agreements in contract, corporate and finance law
- Supporting construction and real estate mandates as well as estate and succession matters
- Drafting legal briefs and submissions to courts and authorities
- Independent legal research and short opinions on substantive and procedural questions
Firm development (approx. 30–40%)
- Building and refining contract templates, checklists and internal know-how
- Helping design efficient processes in mandate management
- Supporting the interfaces with clients, banks and authorities
What we expect
- Excellent law degree (Master) from a Swiss university – or an advanced Master’s programme with very good grades
- The goal of obtaining the Swiss bar admission in the medium term
- Analytical thinking, precise language and high standards for your own work
- Initiative, reliability and enjoyment in building something new
- Interest in business, contract and real estate law as well as in financial matters
- Full command of written German and English
What we offer
- Work on real mandates instead of mere support tasks
- Working directly with partners who have many years of experience in the Swiss legal, finance and transaction sector – flat hierarchies and real opportunities to grow
- Workload from 40%, aligned with lectures, exam periods or bar exam preparation
- Largely location-independent work, with an office in Zurich-West for meetings and project work
- Solid practical experience in advisory work and proceedings – and the prospect of long-term collaboration beyond your studies
